First Day of 3rd Grade

First Week

Good morning everyone,

I hope all of you have had a chance to talk to your little heroes!! We had an awesome week this week! The first 3 habits of "The 7 Habits" were introduced and we worked on school and class procedures and expectations. Be sure to get your student to talk to you about being proactive, beginning with the end in mind, and putting first things first. We also wrote a class mission statement and they worked on their personal mission statements. They were given the task of thinking ahead to the future and we took our "cap and gown" pictures today in class. 

Reminders:

1)  Please remember to send a snack with your child daily.

2) Check green Parent Communication folders and return on Monday.

3) Please go to my blog address (below) and sign up for automatic updates so you don't miss any news or pictures. This will be where future information about our class will be. 

4) I will also be using Class Dojo for behavior. Look for an email from me Monday in reference to signing up.
