Parents, I hope your students had a great week. We have been working long and hard on procedures and expectations through our 7 Habits (though there are actually 8). I hope your student is able to share some of the exciting things and vocabulary they learned through our activities. They should be able to incorporate this into their home lives. 
We ended this with "College Day' and a dance party. Of course, we had some friendly rivalry going on and the kids loved it (especially if they are a Clemson fan- Go Cocks)!! I'm hoping the video won't be too big to add to our blog. Next week will be our first week with the curriculum. This will begin our incorporation of the students leading while learning.
I also want to send a huge thank you to Mrs. Jackson (Justin) for donating snacks to the class. It has been very helpful when students have forgotten snacks. We greatly appreciate it! 
Please join me for Orientation on Wednesday, September 5th for 3rd grade orientation which will showcase curriculum, expectations, and field trips. There are two sessions which start at 5:30 or 6:30 to accommodate your evening schedules. I look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday, and please enjoy the long Labor Day Weekend ahead of us. I look forward to seeing everyone bright and early Tuesday morning. Let the kids know I did say Tuesday this time. They had to keep correcting me in class because I kept saying Monday.
